June 2018 - Palazzo Pucci, Florence, IT
The Brief:
Design and visualise a live event in Palazzo Pucci, to celebrate the heritage of Pucci, utilising the Pucci prints and accessories
The Response:
We dug through the archives, exploring the historic prints, scarves, accessories and garments in stored in Palazzo Pucci to design and put on a 2 day event. We
collaborated with mannequin manufacturer Bonaveri, who have a long-standing relationship with Pucci, after supplying mannequins for their stores.
The mannequins were upholstered in Pucci prints, and the giant ‘monkey’ in the middle of the courtyard was hand painted.
We worked with 3D artists and sculptures to design the 6 mannequins in ‘The Art Room’, the highlight of the experience, taking typical Bonaveri poses and re-imagining
them.
The entire Palazzo was taken over, with installations in every room. We even designed a gift shop where guests could buy miniatures.
