Piazza VI Febbraiom, Milan, IT - September 2019
The Brief:
Design a set that brings to life the iconic Versace palm print, and build a platform for a spectacular WOW moment. Within the set design there needs to be the opportunity to promote Versace's collaboration with Google Images.
The Response:
There is arguably nothing more iconic in Italian architecture than the Pantheon. so this is where design direction began. We recreated the domed
ceiling, producing a seamless laminate print, to bring in the illusion of architectural detail. The outer walls were projected upon from behind, during
the show we had floor to ceiling Versace palm print, and then for the finale, this was the opportunity to use content supplied by Google, to highlight the
relationship between Versace and Google Images.
We designed a giant bronze palm tree, and worked with local fabricators to build a spectacular central feature.
